How to cook French food in your own kitchen

I love french food. 

And I love to cook it. 

I love French cuisine. 

In fact, I grew up eating french food for dinner at a French restaurant. 

Now I live in Canada and have the privilege of making French food for myself, using ingredients that are French and Canadian. 

The only thing I would change is how I prepare it.

So how do you cook French cuisine?

I know it sounds impossible. 

But there are many methods to cook and cook French. 

If you can think of a way to cook french food, you’re probably a chef. 

Here are the 10 easiest ways to cook your own French food.


Make a French Omelette I can’t tell you how many times I have made omelettes and asked myself, “What if I made my own French omelette?” 

There are lots of different recipes out there, and I am a fan of the simple recipe of French omessettes. 

A quick and easy to prepare omelet is a must. 

When you’re ready to serve, sprinkle some bread crumbs over the top of the omelets. 

You can also add a little cheese if you want to go wild. 


Spicy Chicken Soup You can make a French chicken soup in a slow cooker and serve it as a quick lunch. 

This recipe is one of my favorites. 

Ingredients: 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 tablespoon garlic powder 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper 1 tablespoon lemon juice 2 tablespoons tomato paste 1 tablespoon salt and pepper 4 chicken breasts Combine olive oil, garlic powder, cayne-pepper, lemon juice, tomato paste, and salt in a large soup pot and bring to a boil. 

Cover and cook on low heat for 20-30 minutes. 

Remove from heat, and allow to cool slightly before serving. 


Omeletoise Ométoise is a simple recipe to make in a pressure cooker. 

It’s a great meal to enjoy with friends and family. 

Use a variety of herbs, spices, and other ingredients to make this simple dish. 


Bouillabaisse Chicken If you are like me, you love a good chicken soup. 

To make a bouillabise, mix together the chicken, onion, and garlic in a small pot. 

Add the water and let it boil.

 After about five minutes, remove the chicken and shred with two forks. 


Pineapple Chicken Soup This simple recipe makes a nice quick lunch to share with a friend or family member. 

Combining a mix of chicken, potatoes, onions, and peppers, you can make this dish in just a few minutes.


Chicken Salad in a Slow Cooker   This is a delicious, quick and healthy salad to serve with a side of chicken. 

Simply stir together the dressing and juice from a can of pineapple in a blender or food processor. 

Place the salad in a bowl and cover with water. 

Cook on low for 30 minutes, or until the dressing is cooked through. 


Beurre’s Lemonade I make a simple Lemonade in a Pressure Cooker, which is a nice way to prepare a simple dish to share. 

Just combine the lemonade with 2 cups of chicken broth, 2 cups diced lemons, and 2 teaspoons of crushed red pepper flakes in a medium saucepan. 

Allow the mixture to cook for about 15 minutes.


Italian Pasta This pasta is a great quick meal for the table, especially for the kids. 

Mix together the pasta with some of the chicken broth and the cooked chicken and chicken stock. 

Set aside. 


Crockpot French Omesseets This is an easy recipe to serve in your slow cooker.

Use a pot and cook the pasta until it’s cooked through and the broth is thick. 

Once cooked, remove from heat and let cool slightly. 


Potato and Chicken Soup   If your craving potatoes and chicken, this soup is the perfect recipe to take to the table. 

Preheat your slow cookers to high and add in the chicken.

Add some of your favorite vegetables, herbs, and spices to the soup.

Cook for about 5-10 minutes.


Chili Peanut Soup This chili peanut soup is a quick and delicious meal for a busy day. 

Cut a small piece of chicken and add it to a bowl with some vegetables and herbs. 

Stir together the vegetables, seasonings, and the chicken in a saucepan until the vegetables are well combined. 

Heat the soup over medium heat and simmer for about two minutes.


Vegetable and Peanut Salad This salad is one I love. 

Throw a few vegetables in your soup and add some peanuts
